The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 461/2014 arising out of Patahi P.S. Case No. 140 of 2013 registered under Sections 342, 323, 363, 366-A and 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 24.07.2014 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 25002 of 2014.

It is contended that there is no substantial progress in

Regard being had to the reasons assigned in the order dated 24.07.2014 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 25002 of 2014, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. The learned Additional Sessions Judge-1st, Motihari, East Champaran is directed to expedite the trial of the case and conclude the same as early as possible preferably within nine months from today. In case the trial is not concluded within the specified time, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the court below itself.
