The petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2016 in connection with Bihariganj P.S. Case No. 47 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only on the basis of suspicion, the petitioner was taken into custody and has since been languishing in jail. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not a businessman and the petitioner has no concern with the alleged seized bags of rice for which he has been unduly punished.
Considering the aforementioned facts and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24497 of 2016 (2) dt.02-06-2016 2/2 circumstances, let the petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the each amount to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Udakishunganj, DistrictMadhepura in connection with Bihariganj P.S. Case No. 47 of 2016.
