Petitioner is named in the first information report and he carries chequered criminal history but in the present case, no one came forward to say that any extortion money was demanded by the petitioner.

No doubt, petitioner is named in the first information report but admittedly, nether he was caught on the spot nor any firearm was recovered from his conscious possession and informant claimed to this extent that he identified the petitioner while fleeing from the place of occurrence.

Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in Sonepur P.S. Case no. 400/2014. shahid (Hemant Kumar Srivastava,J) U T
