2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 342, 323, 324, 307, 504, 506, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, on the alleged date and time of occurrence, all the F.I.R. named accused persons including this petitioner assaulted informant by means of katta and snatched his ATM card, PAN card, cash, mobile phone and other valuable items.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Allegation of assault is general and omnibus and there is no specific allegation of overt act against the petitioner. Rest of the allegations are ornamental in nature.

5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner has got eight criminal antecedents.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and criminal antecedents, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
