2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Kargahar P.S. Case No. 258 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 309(4), 127(1), 3(5) of the BNS.

3. As per the prosecution story, while the informant having closed his shop proceeded towards his house and reached near harizan tola, four unknown persons riding on a motorcycle intercepted him and on the point of pistol snatched gold chain, a gold locket, a gold ring, cash Rs. 7000/- and other belongings of the informant.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He has further submitted that his name has figured in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4858 of 2025(2) dt.19-02-2025 2/2 the confessional statement of co-accused Kundan Kumar, who has been granted bail. He has also submitted that the petitioner is a bona fide purchaser of a mobile set from co-accused Kundan Kumar. The petitioner is a person of clean antecedent and is custody since 25.10.2024.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances especially the clean antecedent of the petitioner, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-IV, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Kargahar P.S. Case No. 258 of 2024, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
