In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Khagaria (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 40 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 511, 341, 323, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of POCSO Act.

Allegation has been made that the co-accused Sajjan Kumar, who is the son of the present petitioner, has committed sexual assault upon the minor daughter of the informant and when the informant made complaint then the petitioner threatened her saying that if she would complain before the police then she would be killed.

Looking to the nature of allegation, let the petitioner,

No.5279 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 above-named, be released on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Khagaria in connection with Khagaria (Mahila) P.S.
