This application for regular bail arises out of Chakai P.S. Case No. 205 of 2019, disclosing offence punishable under Section 307 and other allied Sections of the Indian Penal Code. From the FIR, it transpires that a trivial dispute between the informant's family and the persons named in the FIR over the location of installation of a Government hand pump led to the occurrence alleged. Allegedly, the persons named in the FIR abused and assaulted the informant, whereafter one Nitish Kumar intervened to pacify the dispute. Allegedly, the said Nitish Kumar was assaulted by the petitioner and others causing grievous injury.

It has been submitted that there is no chance of petitioner fleeing from the course of trial. Investigation, it is submitted, has been completed. Considering the genesis of occurrence and the nature of accusation, as disclosed in the FIR, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount, each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Jamui, in Chakai P.S.
