JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 08-03-2018 This writ petition has been filed for release of Rs. 55,000/-, which has been seized in connection with Cheriabariyarpur P.S. Case No. 133/2017 due to violation of the Excise Act. The prayer made in the writ petition is to return the aforesaid amount to the petitioner.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, pending finalization of the aforesaid criminal case against the petitioner, the aforesaid amount of Rs. 55,000/-, recovered from the petitioner, shall be returned back to the petitioner on the petitioner furnishing two sureties to the satisfaction of the
