JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-01-2015 Petitioner being husband of the victim is languishing in custody since 13.01.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the I.P.C.
Accusation is killing the niece of the informant within few months of marriage for non-fulfilment of dowry demand. The postmortem reflects death by hanging. Considering the nature of accusation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at present. However, if the trial is not concluded within a period of one year then the petitioner will be at liberty to pray for bail afresh. Let the trial be expedited.
Accordingly the application is dismissed in connection with Sikty P.S. Case No. 150 of 2013, pending in
