JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 02-06-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

In this case, the petitioners are seeking regular bail in connection with Excise Complaint Case No.CI-116 of 2016, registered for the offence punishable under Section 47 (a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation has been made that while the petitioners were going to attend the marriage from West Bangal, a search was

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the resident of West Bengal, having no knowledge about the imposition of ban of liquor in the State of Bihar. He further submits that the petitioners have come to attend the marriage and having no intention to violate the law imposed by the State of Bihar.

Having considered the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10, 000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea, in connection with Excise Complaint Case No.CI-116 of 2016.
