The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and different sections of Arms Act and Explosive Substance Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the first information report. Name of the petitioner figured in the confessional statement of co-accused Bipat Choudhary. Except the confessional statement there is no material against the petitioner and the petitioner is in jail since 19.04.2008.
