1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned APP for the State.
2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kursakanta P.S. Case No. 227 of 2023, dated 22.09.2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8/20(b)(ii) (B) and 22(B) of the NDPS Act.
3. The main submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner are that the instant matter relates to the recovery of 1.8 kilograms of narcotic material, namely, Ganja which is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and the said alleged contraband comes in the purview of intermediate quantity but the same is slightly more than the small quantity and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and against him, the investigation has been completed.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
5. In the facts and circumstances of this case and considering above submissions coupled with the quantity of the alleged contraband which is said to have been recovered from the possession of this petitioner and also the completion of investigation against him, this Court is inclined to accept the bail prayer of the petitioner. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail on furnishing of bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Kursakanta P.S. Case No. 227 of 2023.
