2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Salimpur P.S. Case No. 271 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 310(2), 111(2) of B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, a looted tempo has been recovered from the petitioner.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner claims to be the bonafide purchaser of the said tempo but the learned counsel is unable to give the details of purchase. Petitioner has clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5707 of 2026(3) dt.24-02-2026 2/2 for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioner, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.

7. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.

8. The petitioner is directed to surrender within two weeks from today and pray for regular bail, failing which the Superintendent of Police, Patna will take all steps for arrest of the petitioner.

9. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Patna through FAX or e-mail for its compliance.
