JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-07-2015 The petitioner is in custody since 11.9.2013 in Madhuban P.S. Case No.99/13 for the offence under Section 304(B) of the I.P.C.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The prosecution case, in brief, is that on 30.4.2012 marriage took place between the daughter of the informant and the petitioner. Subsequently thereafter sasural people of the daughter of the informant started dowry demand and on non-fulfillment of the same they used to torture and assault her and ultimately, in one fine morning she was killed by them on its non-fulfillment. On receipt of the information the informant went there and saw his daughter lying dead on chouki.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34881 of 2014 (5) dt.29-07-2015 2/2 On behalf of the petitioner it has been submitted that he has been in custody since 11.9.2013. Charge sheet has been submitted in this case. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased.

It has been submitted on behalf of the State that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and main allegation of assault is against him.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.The prayer for bail is rejected.

However, the trial court is directed to take all steps to expedite the trial and conclude preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. (Sudhir Singh, J) AnilKrSinha/- U T
