Patna High Court CWJC No.2145 of 2024(2) dt.29-02-2024 2/2 the respondents to promote the petitioners on any Group-C post from Group-D post (Officer Attendant) on which they are working since 2006 in the various departments of the Collector of District Kishanganj w.e.f. the date his juniors were promoted i.e. 04.12.2023.

(ii). To further issue a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to grant the benefits of MACP to the petitioners which are long overdue to them."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the District Magistrate, Kishanganj, i.e. the Respondent No. 3, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted. 3.

It is needless to state that in case the petitioners approach the Respondent No. 3, by filing appropriate representation, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be disposed off by a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
