2. This application has been filed for quashing the First Information Report bearing Kachhawan P.S. Case No. 42/2016 for the offence under Sections 406, 420, 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It appears that the FIR is of the year 2016 and the same has been challenged in the year 2023, after inordinate delay that too without any explanation.
