Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Mahesh Narayan Parbat, learned Senior Counsel for respondent no.5 and Ms. Archana Meenakchee, learned counsel for respondents no. 3 and 4.

The grievance of the petitioner is that a decision in respect of opening of a Branch in village Gauri Pandah in the District of Patna is pending at the State Level Banker's Committee, respondent no.2, since 2016.

Mr. Mahesh Narayan Parbat, learned Senior Counsel

Patna High Court CWJC No.3064 of 2019(2) dt.18-02-2019 2/2 appearing for respondent no.5, does admit that the issue was put up before the Committee but the decision is awaited. In such view of the matter, we deem it proper to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to respondent no.2, the State Level Banker's Committee through its Chairman to take a decision as regarding opening of the Branch of Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank at village Gauri Pandah in the District of Patna, which according to the petitioner is pending since 2016. This Court fails to appreciate as to why an agenda put up before the Committee is pending since 2016 especially where it deals with providing the Banking facility to the local villagers. Let a decision in this regard be taken by the Committee within a period of three months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

With the observation and direction above, the writ petition is disposed of.
