The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 22.9.2021 (Annexure-2) passed in Cr. Misc. no. 25051 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing 1 year in custody. The petitioner has remained in custody for more than one year since 25.1.2021.

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6567 of 2022(2) dt.16-02-2022 2/2 taking into consideration the liberty granted to the petitioner in the earlier order of rejection dated 22.9.2021 and the period in custody of the petitioner, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Kursakanta (Sonamani Gudam O.P.) P.S. Case no. 21 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Session Judge-cum-Special Judge, Araria.
