The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is exclusion of the name of the petitioner from the select list notified vide notification No. 71 of 2017 dated 15.4.2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is regularly working since 28.4.2005 and the selection committee constituted by the University in terms of Section 57A has considered the case of the petitioner and recommended her name for regularization but her name does not figure in the notification No. 71 of 2017 dated 15.4.2017. Counsel submits

Patna High Court CWJC No.4991 of 2018(2) dt.27-03-2018 2/2 that the petitioner has approached the Vice-Chancellor of the University by filing representation dated 24.11.2017 as contained in Annexure-11 but the same has not been addressed as yet. Counsel further submits that if the respondent-Vice Chancellor is directed to consider the case of the petitioner in the light of the recommendation of the selection committee constituted by the University, the grievance of the petitioner may be redressed.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent-Vice Chancellor to examine the relevant record and if it is found that the petitioner has been regularly working since 28.4.2005 and the selection committee has recommended her name, appropriate remedial steps may be taken by the respondents. The final decision on the representation of the petitioner must be taken by the respondentVice Chancellor within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
