The petitioner seeks bail in Complaint Case No. C/195/2013, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted that the wife has made allegation of demand of dowry against the petitioner but the petitioner had earlier filed a suit for restitution of conjugal rights. The case was compromised and accordingly the suit was withdrawn. Thereafter the wife of the petitioner filed this case. The petitioner is in jail since 21.05.2015.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Pupri, Sitamarhi, in connection with Complaint Case No. C/195/2013.
