The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 413,414 and 384/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 11(1)(d)(e)(h)(k) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act.

The prosecution case is that the informant during patrolling found some persons fighting but as soon as informant reached to the place three persons escaped from the scene. The person found standing there namely Md. Jahid Hussain suggested that he was taking

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36607 of 2015 (2) dt.10-09-2015 2/2 animals on truck when co accused Pawan Kumar, Satyam Singh and this petitioner snatched five thousand five hundred rupees and were demanding extortion.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the affected persons have not lodged any FIR. Statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

The aforesaid facts constitute ground for consideration of the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner by the learned court below in case the petitioner surrenders within six weeks from today in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No. 68 of 2014 pending in the court of learned CJM, Motihari. This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation/direction.
