Petitioner is in custody connection with Dandari P.S. Case No. 124 of 2019 for the offence under sections 467, 468, 471, 420 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has been made accused in this case on the ground of procuring appointment on the basis of forged certificate. It is relevant to mention here that large number of persons have obtained appointment on the basis of forged certificate.

A Division Bench of this Court has given amnesty to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5056 of 2020(2) dt.31-01-2020 2/2 those who tendered resignation within time.

It appears that the petitioner has not availed opportunity of amnesty and on verification of certificate, the certificate was found to be forged.

The petitioner is in custody since 14.11.2019. Considering the fact that not only the teachers were involved in the process of procuring appointment on the basis of forged certificate but those who are responsible for appointment without verification of certificate but no action was taken against them, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai, in connection with Dandari P.S. Case No. 124 of 2019.
