Petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Begusarai Mufassil P.S. Case No. 477 of 2019 for the offences under sections 324, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He further submits that there is specific allegation of firing against Ajeet Kumar. Learned counsel submits that petitioner is brother-inlaw of Ajeet Kumar and that is why he has been made accused in this case. He also submits that firing was made on account of partition. The present case is counter blast of Begusarai Mufassil P.S. Case No. 476 of 2019 lodged by the Ajeet Kumar ,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5479 of 2020(3) dt.30-06-2020 2/2 levelling allegation of firing against the informant side. Considering the fact that there is no specific allegation of firing against this petitioner, the Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai, in connection with Begusarai Mufassil P.S. Case No. 477 of 2019 subject to the condition as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. with further condition that on release the petitioner shall render his service as volunteer in dedicated Covid-19 hospital for a period of one month. He is required to report to the district Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner appropriately.
