The present contempt petition has been filed for noncompliance of the order dated 16.11.2017 passed in CWJC No. 7952 of 2016 by which the respondent-authority was directed to

Patna High Court MJC No.223 of 2023(3) dt.07-08-2023 2/2 consider the representation of the petitioner. A show cause has been filed on behalf of the Opposite party nos. 2 and 4 to 10 is on record and learned counsel for the State has taken this Court to the order vide 206 dated 06.03.2023 passed by the Executive Engineer, West Koshi Nahar, Canal Division, Khajauli, Madhubani by which the first ACP has been granted to the petitioner and as per the chart annexed with it, an amount of Rs. 2,45,306/- has been calculated, although he concede that the said payment has not been paid.

The order is of March, 2023 and in August, 2023 still it is not clear whether the payment has been made or not. The MJC No. 223 of 2023 stands disposed of with a clear direction to the concerned opposite party to pay the dues if still not paid within a period of four weeks from today failing which another contempt will be made out against them.
