The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 110 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 15.12.2021, is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation is of recovery of 63 litres of liquor from an Alto Car. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not arrested from the spot, he is alleged to be the owner of the said car and as such was not knowing what the driver had kept in the car.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Excise Judge-I, Begusarai in connection with Town P.S.
