Present:- Member(Judicial) :Mr. Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah Member(Legal Profession) : Mr. Amish Kumar, Advocate AWARD The dispute between the parties having been referred for determination to the Lok Adalat and the parties having compromised/ settled the case/matter, the following award is passed in terms of the settlement: Nobody appears on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the State is present.

2. The matter had been referred by the Bench to the Lok Adalat in view of the parties agreeing for the same.

3. The claim of the petitioner was for payment of difference of interest amount on his G.P.F. From the counter affidavit, it transpires that the claim has been found to be admissible. Learned counsel for the State who is present submitted that if actual payment has not yet been made, the same shall be made within two months from today.

4. In view thereof, the Bench taking note the commitment/undertaking by the learned counsel for the State with regard to actual credit of the amount payable to the petitioner on account of difference of interest on his G.P.F. within two months from today, the writ petition stands disposed off. The parties are informed that the court fee, if any, paid by any of them shall be refunded.
