2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 249 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 448, 341, 323, 324, 326, 307, 302, 354, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per allegation, the petitioner along with other coaccused persons having been armed with knife and sickle, and came to the house of informant and started abusing the informant and her husband. On protest, on the order of Umesh Sahni, co-accused Amit Kumar, Nirjala Devi and Umesh Sahni himself, caught hold of the informant's husband and on the order of Umesh Sahni co-accused Pacho Devi stabbed the informant's husband with knife on chest.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8498 of 2024(2) dt.20-02-2024 2/2 the allegation against the petitioner is only on catching hold of the deceased and nothing more.
5. It appears that the petitioner along with co-accused persons namely, co-accused Umesh Sahni, Amit Kumar, caught hold of the deceased and whereupon co-accused Pacho Devi @ Pachima Devi stabbed him to death.
6. In my view, I do not find it a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail, which is hereby rejected.
