Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rohtas P.S. Case No. 431 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 (Amendment Act 2018/2022).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 20.11.2022 and there is a recovery of 70.5 liters of country made liquor.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6569 of 2023(2) dt.10-05-2023 2/2 of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No.-2 cum Additional Sessions Judge, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Rohtas P.S. Case No. 431 of 2022.
