Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned APP for the State.

In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with C2 Case No. 471 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30 (A) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per allegation, the petitioner was apprehended and 171 litres liquor was recovered from his possession. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is a person of clean antecedents and he is under custody since 04.10.2021.

No.5920 of 2022(2) dt.25-05-2022 2/2 Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioner above-named is directed to be released on bail after framing of charge on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J. II-cum-Special Judge Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with C2 Case No. 471 of 2021. Learned trial court is directed to take every endeavor to frame charges as early as possible.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time mentioned hereinabove, failing which, the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) SONALI/- U T
