This writ petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner for release of Bajaj Pulsar 220F Motorcycle bearing Registration No.BR01DC-2363, which has been seized by the Sub-Inspector, Excise (Prahar Bal), Patna in connection with P.R. Case No. 135 of 2018 arising out of Special Case No. 8985 of 2018 registered under Sections 30(a) and 32(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
