Petitioner is in jail custody since 28.5.2015 on the accusation that he blackmailed the informant by giving threatening to publish her naked photo and persuaded her to give some money as a result whereof informant took out Rs 50,000/- and ornaments from almirah of her mother and handed over to the petitioner and coaccused. The contention on behalf of the petitioner is that the present case was lodged by the informant under influence of her family members and, as a matter of fact, petitioner was well known to the informant prior to alleged occurrence because informant has herself admitted in her written report that petitioner was introduced to her by her friend and after that petitioner used to talk her on her mobile phone.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37231 of 2015 (2) dt.02-09-2015 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as the period of detention of the petitioner in jail custody, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Sessions Judge I, Vaishali at Hajipur in Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case no. 249/2015.
