1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Naugachia P.S. Case no.330 of 2022 registered under sections 304B, 498A, 313 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the daughter of the informant, who was married to the son of the petitioner herein, was physically and mentally tortured and assaulted for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry to the tune of Rs.5 lacs. She was ultimately done to death.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case for the reason that he happens to be the father-in-law of the deceased. The allegations are false and concocted. The husband of the deceased
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8786 of 2024(2) dt.20-02-2024 2/2 ie the son of the petitioner namely Pappu Kumar has been enlarged on bail vide order dated 19.1.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. no.73625 of 2023. The petitioner is in custody since 11.10.2023 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that a typographical error has occurred in page no.2 of the bail petition wherein it has been stated that the petitioner is in custody since 19.1.2019. The date of custody of the petitioner has correctly been stated in paragraph no.17 of the petition which is 11.10.2023.
5. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the general and omnibus allegations in the F.I.R., grant of bail to co-accused-husband of the deceased vide the above mentioned order, the petitioner having remained in custody since 11.10.2023 and chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Naugachia P.S. Case no.330 of 2022 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M. I, Naugachia, Bhagalpur.
