The petitioner is languishing in custody since 19.05.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 386, 435 and 427/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the petitioner was demanding extortion of Rs.1,00,000/- and on the point of pistol Rs.23,000/- was snatched from the informant and on the order of this petitioner the other co-accused put the wife of the informant on fire.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the informant has not stated the true state of affairs

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36387 of 2014 (04) dt.13-01-2015 2/2 and petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the petition nor any recovery has been made from the petitioner. Considering the period under custody, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Nayagaown P.S. Case No. 03 of 2014.
