The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Manjhi P.S. Case No. 317 of 2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 420, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation against the petitioner is of having obtained employment as a teacher on the strength of a forged T.E.T. certificate.

No.12266 of 2021(2) dt.23-12-2021 2/3 The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that after verification of the entire documents, appointment letter was issued to him. No sooner the petitioner learnt that there is cloud over the appointment process and that many persons are being prosecuted for their degrees to have been found fake, the petitioner resigned from the service.

Many other accused persons having similar accusation against them have been granted anticipatory bail by different Benches of this Court.

Mr. Mishra, the learned counsel for the State does not controvert the aforesaid assertions.

For the reasons afore-stated, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate -XIV, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Manjhi
