Patna High Court CWJC No.2863 of 2019(2) dt.15-02-2019 2/2 It is the petitioners' case that they are owners of lands, which have been acquired by the State Government for the purpose of construction of a road and are entitled to compensation at the rate applicable to commercial lands. The petitioners have, though, received the amount of compensation, but, according to them, they are entitled for more amount than what has been paid, since the nature of the land ought to have been treated as commercial lands.
The petitioners appear to have raised their grievance before the Principal Secretary, Land Reforms Department, Government of Bihar. The representations, which were submitted, have been brought on record by way of Annexure-3 to the writ applications. It does not appear from the said representations that the petitioners ever raised any plea of the land being commercial in nature.
These applications, in my view, do not deserve to be entertained and is, accordingly, dismissed.
