The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No.168 of 2019 arising out of DRI Patna Unit Case No. 15 of 2019-20 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b), 23, 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since two and a half years. He is the helper of the truck and has clean antecedent. He has no role in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7146 of 2022(2) dt.26-05-2022 2/2 the huge recovery of more than 800 Kg. of Ganja. Be that as it may, considering the huge recovery, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This application is dismissed.

The Special Judge, Patna is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible and preferably within a year. The order be communicated to the Special Judge, Patna through Fax also.
