The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Nawada Nagar P. S. Case No. 07 of 2014, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16561 of 2021(2) dt.07-01-2022 2/3 The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant with a brick which has led to simple injuries on his head.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that no such occurrence ever took place and the victim may have suffered injuries in another transaction.

He has further submitted that no sharp cutting wound can be caused by attack with a brick.

Under similar circumstances, co-accused persons viz. Vinod Kumar, Sakun Devi and Bipin Kumar have been granted bail by the court below.

Regard being had to the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial
