JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-10-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ for direction to the respondents concerned for giving benefit of promotions including third ACP to the petitioner. Since the petitioner was adjusted to the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) with effect from 31.12.1976 by the Departmental Resolution vide Memo No. 930 dated 25.08.2011 and accordingly all consequential benefits were given to him.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Secretarycum-Commissioner, Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, i.e. the Respondent No. 2 for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted. 3.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate petition is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the Respondent No. 2 shall consider the same and pass a reasoned and a speaking order thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter. 4.

The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
