2. This is an application for issuing writ or writs in the nature of mandamus or any other writ / writs, order / orders, direction/ directions to the respondents to pay the arrear amount of present value of the acquired land with 18% statutory interest till date of payment.
3. Mrs. Nutan Sahay, learned AC to AAG-12 has taken this Court to the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent Nos. 3 - 5 and paragraph 8 and 9 read as follows:-
8. That, it is most humbly submitted that, it is on record that the acquired land in question
Patna High Court CWJC No.13600 of 2017(2) dt.15-04-2024 2/3 pertaining to Khata No. 257, Plot No. 134, area 27 decimals situated in Mauza- Takiya stands in the name of Ramanandan Singh, father of the writ petitioner and accordingly final award No. 12 dated 29.08.2019 was prepared in his name as per order dated 04.04.2019 passed by this Hon'ble court in L.P.A. No. 469 of 2018.

That, it is pertinent to mention here that the writ petitioner claimed himself to be the successor of Ramnandan Singh (in whose name compensation award no. 12 was prepared) vide his application dated 03.11.2020 and after getting no objection from other family members on 04.11.2020, the compensation amount with all dues as directed by this Hon'ble court vide order dated 04.04.2019 in L.P.A. No. 469/2018 was paid to the writ petitioner vide voucher dated 08.02.2021 and now, no claim of the writ petitioner is pending before the answering respondents.

4. Taking into account the aforesaid facts that the compensation amount has been cleared and no claim is pending, in the opinion of this Court, the matter has now become infructuous.
