2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Patna Mahila P.S. Case No. 95 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498A and 34 of IPC.

3. The informant makes allegation against her husband (the petitioner) of ill treatment for demand of dowry.

4. As submitted by the parties, the matter has become irretrievable. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner may make a payment of Rs. 12 lakhs to the O.P. No. 2 as one-time settlement of the dispute. He may pay Rs. 8 lakhs at the time of furnishing of the bail bond and rest amount of Rs. 4

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7653 of 2025(5) dt.08-10-2025 2/2 lakhs will be paid in four equal monthly installments.

5. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2 submits that O.P. No. 2 is ready to withdraw all the cases, filed against the petitioner.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Patna City Mahila P.S. Case No. 95 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

7. The petitioner shall make a payment of Rs. 8 lakhs at the time of furnishing of bail bond and rest amount of Rs. 4 lakhs will be paid in four equal monthly installments to the O.P. No. 2 (the informant).

8. The informant shall file petition for withdrawal of all the cases filed against the petitioner. The petitioner will be entitled for recovery of the amount paid by him, in case the informant retracts from withdrawing the cases.
