JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-11-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. i. For issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction specially in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to restrain the opposite parties i.e private respondents, not to interfere in the peaceful possession of the petitioner.
ii. For issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction specially in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to ensure compliance of order dated 08.08.2022 passed in M.J.C. No. 1621/ 2015, by this Hon'ble Court and confirm the possession of the petitioner over the land in question."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies
Patna High Court CWJC No.2790 of 2024(3) dt.18-11-2024 3/3 as are otherwise available under the law, including that of approaching the respondent authorities, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
