The present writ petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief/s:- "That this is an application for grant of an appropriate writ for a direction to the respondents Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga and it authorities to desist from disturbing the peaceful possession of the petitioner over the disputed land."

3. The counter-affidavit of the respondents is/are on record and from it, it is clear that the land in question is with the Lalit Narayan Mithila University since last several decades.

4. The respondents contention is that the only remedy available to the petitioner in that background is to claim his title.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall be seeking appropriate remedy before the competent authority/Court.

6. Granting said liberty, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
