The learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Sheikhpura has written a letter for extending the time for conclusion of trial. It appears that vide order dated 16.09.2015 the trial court was directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within six months from the receipt of the order. It is very sorry state of affairs that even after lapse of ten months the trial could not be concluded and only one prosecution witness has been examined.
The period for concluding the trial is extended by four months with a direction to the court below to hold the trial on day to day basis and take steps for procuring attendance of prosecution witnesses failing which necessary order in accordance with law shall be passed.
