The petitioners seek bail in Saraiya P.S. case No. 552/2019 registered under Section u/s 30(a) & 33 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

The police got information that Surendra Mahto and his son Shailesh Mahto assaulted Kishore Mahto and his wife Jhunni Devi. On such, police went there and arrested Surendra Mahto and Shailesh Mahto. On search, 10 liter of country made liquor was recovered from the house of Surendra Mahto and Shailesh Mahto. Surendra Mahto disclosed that Chandan Paswan, Santosh Paswan and Md. Mobin provided the liquor to him.

The petitioner is in custody since 18.09.2019. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioners, the petitioners, above named are directed to be enlarged on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Saraiya P.S. case No. 552/2019.
