Mr. Kalyan Shankar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 23-01-2020 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chapra Muffasil P.S. Case No. 475 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Section 382 of IPC.
Petitioner was arrested at the spot, when he was fleeing away after snatching mobile phone of the informant. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has been remanded in this case on 27.11.2019, though he was arrested on 21.11.2019. He is in custody for about two months.
Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that petitioner has been arrested at the spot.
Having heard both sides, in view of the submissions, made above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4545 of 2020(2) dt.23-01-2020 2/2 this stage. However, once the charge has been framed in this case, petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail. With the above observations, this application is dismissed.
