The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 409/420/120B of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner lifted 29535.10 Quintal of paddy and he had to deliver 19788.52 Quintal of rice but the petitioner deposited only 1620 Quintal of rice. The remaining 18168.52 Quintals of rice is alleged to have been misappropriated by the petitioner, the cost of which comes to Rs. 34602729/-.
It is submitted that the petitioner has mortgaged his property and a certificate case is also going on. Learned counsel for the Bihar State Food and Civil
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41692 of 2015 (2) dt.11-09-2015 P2/2 Supplies Corporation has stated that the certificate case for realization of the aforesaid amount is going on. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Lohiya Nagar P.S. Case No. 189/2015 in connection with Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) Saif/- U T
