JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-08-2022 Though the present writ petition was filed for directing the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner for grant of compensation qua the acquisition of land in question by the respondent Bihar State Housing Board, however, the learned counsel appearing for the respondentHousing Board Dr. Anand Kumar has submitted that the compensation amount would definitely be paid within a period of four weeks from today.

In such view of the matter, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not seek to press the present writ petition,

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to revive the present writ petition in case amount of compensation is not paid within a period of four weeks from today, whereupon this Court may initiate contempt proceeding against the defaulter(s).
