The present writ petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief/s:- "(i) For issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents particularly respondent no. 4 to give the certified copy of Panji 27 (mutation) with regard to Mauza Ekawana since Cirkut has filed vide dated 11.1.2024 (Annexure -1) (ii) For issuance of any other writ /direction for which the petitioner is otherwise entitled in the eye of law."

The petitioner has to invoke the writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India only because the Circle Officer, Udwantnagar, Bhojpur has chosen to act above the law, if the contention of the petitioner is to be believed. Annexure1 is the document which shows that a speed post request was sent

Patna High Court CWJC No.1930 of 2024(2) dt.14-05-2024 2/2 in a proper format on 11.01.2024 for providing a certified copy of the order relating to land.

4. Having failed to get the certified copy, he approached the Additional Collector, Bhojpur as also the Collector, Bhojpur and the copies of the speed post receipt is/are on record. As none of them responded, the writ petition.

5. This Court was under the impression that the Circle Officer, Udwantnagar, Bhojpur be summoned alongwith a counter-affidavit on why cost be not imposed to be paid from his own pocket, in view of the fact that the petitioner has failed to provide the complete details relating to the land, it refrains from passing such order.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No. 4, the Circle Officer, Udwantnagar, Bhojpur to immediately take cognizance of the matter and provide the certified copy as requested by the petitioner relating to Mutation Case No. 15 of 1995-96 and/or the reason for not supplying the document within a fortnight.
