The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No. 01 of 2019 dated 01.01.2019 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act, 2016.

Fourteen (14) litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a street behind Ansari market. It has been alleged in the FIR that on seeing the police party, the petitioner ran away from the place. Learned counsel for the petitioner denies to have ran away from the place from where the seizure has been made. For the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VIth, Saran at Chapra in connection with Ekma P.S.
