In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Maniyari P.S. Case No.222 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police on secret information raided the poultry firm of one Satya Narayan Pandit and from where recovered 1398.420 liters of foreign liquor, which was kept by the petitioner, however, after seeing the police party, the petitioner fled away.

Looking to the quantity of liquor recovered, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present.
